This expansion was constructed so the garage could be used as a pavillion for parties and bar-be-ques, for working on large wood projects, or parking several cars. We ensured the roof shingles matched the existing shingles on our extension. Ceiling fans were added to help move the air and make the hot Houston summers a bit more bearable! The owner wanted to add a sun room and partial unscreened covered porch to the back of their house. The first thing was to rip away the existing siding and add an extended roof. After that, we installed the new roof and added the enclosed sun room.
